Core Resources has over 150 years of combined flotation expertise including designing and carrying out testwork, flowsheet development, modelling and simulation, full plant design and layout, equipment sizing and selection, flotation plant engineering and scoping and PFS studies.
We can assist with the review of the performance of existing operations for making investment decisions and can provide site-based expertise in commissioning, plant operations and optimisation.
Over the past 15 years Core has successfully developed projects across base metals, precious metals, battery metals, coal and industrial minerals – if it floats we have floated it, and complexity is no issue. Core can carry out bench-scale, locked cycle and pilot scale testwork as well as geometallurgical and future ore testing, and can then go on to develop an optimised flowsheet based on the testwork results. Core is also equipped with multiple Jameson cells for laboratory or on-site pilot testing.
Our dedicated pilot flotation area is capable of treating several tonnes of material and can include crushing and grinding of drill core sample. Core has a wide range of pilot grinding and flotation equipment available for the execution of an integrated pilot flotation program. Core also provides screening and magnetic separation capabilities for beneficiation pilot programs. Ore sorting testing can be conducted by Core through our network partners.
Core’s bench and pilot scale equipment includes:
- 3 x Agitair laboratory flotation machines and flotation cells (capacity: 1 to 10 L)
- 2 x 700 L flotation cells, with double outlet concentrate launders and adjustable level control
- 1 Bank of 4 x 60 L Denver Flotation Cells
- 1 Bank of 3 x 27 L Denver Flotation Cells
- 2 Banks of 2 x 11 L Denver Flotation Cells
- J300 Jameson Cell
- Other column and conventional cells available on request
- 6000 L On-site Tailings Management Facility
- Dedicated flotation laboratory for bench scale test work.
