Core Resources Was a Finalist in LatAm Market Accelerator 2018

Core is pleased to announce it has been selected as a finalist in a unique Latin American accelerator program.

The LatAm Market Entry Accelerator Program provides ten of Australia’s best tech companies with access to mentors and advisors to help progress business opportunities and connect to potential customers, partners and investors in Chile and elsewhere in Latin America. ‘The Judges were looking for Australian technology companies with the greatest chance of building significant export markets in Latin America,’ said John O’Brien, the Program founder.

As a finalist in the Mining Equipment, Technology & Services sector, the program shortlisted four mining tech companies that have shown to improve operational performance of the extraction or processing of minerals.

Core will promote their  proprietary Toowong Process, a novel technology enabling the safe and hygienic removal of highly toxic contaminants from mineral concentrates produced by mines and to fix the contaminants in an environmentally stable and non-toxic form. The Toowong Process addresses a global environmental problem and is a key application for miners who own mining projects with problematic arsenic contents, as is common in Latin America.

Read more about the Toowong Process how it is providing a solution for the urgent global problem of pollution caused by increasing contamination of mineral concentrates, particularly by arsenic.

The Australian Latin American Market Entry Accelerator Program is supported by the Australian Government through the Council on Australia Latin America Relations (COALAR) of the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
