Core Resources is proud to be a sponsor of the Australian Science and Engineering Fair (AUSSEF), supporting Australia’s next generation of scientists, engineers and innovators as they take their ideas to the global stage.
AUSSEF is Australia’s premier STEM competition for high school students, providing a platform for young researchers to develop and showcase innovative projects across science, technology, engineering and mathematics. The program plays a critical role in fostering curiosity, technical capability and real-world problem solving, while connecting students with opportunities beyond the classroom.
As part of this initiative, AUSSEF selects and supports a team of top-performing students to represent Australia at the International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF), the world’s largest pre-college STEM competition. In 2026, a team of 10 students and 3 chaperones will travel to Phoenix to present their work alongside peers from across the globe.
Core’s sponsorship contributes to enabling this opportunity, helping cover the costs associated with travel, participation and program delivery. By supporting AUSSEF, we are investing in the development of future industry leaders and reinforcing the importance of STEM pathways within Australia.
At Core, our work in process engineering, hydrometallurgy and critical minerals is driven by innovation and technical excellence. Supporting initiatives like AUSSEF aligns closely with our values, encouraging the same curiosity, rigour and problem-solving mindset that underpins both scientific research and industrial project delivery.
We look forward to following the team’s journey and wish them every success as they represent Australia on the international stage.
