Core Resources COVID-19 Response

Dear Core Resources Clients

Given the continuing situation relating to COVID-19, I would like to take this opportunity to provide you with an update about the plans we have in place to ensure that we continue to maintain our high level of service to our clients.

The management at Core has been monitoring developments relating to COVID-19 closely and we continue to take advice from the Australian Government Department of Health and all relevant state and federal bodies.

Core continues to operate on a “business as usual” basis. However the health and well-being of our clients and our staff is our highest priority. We are taking protectionary measures to ensure we respect others, whilst delivering our services in a sensible and productive manner. We aim to take a balanced approach that cares about people, is flexible and manages potential operational disruptions to continue to support your ongoing metallurgical testing and engineering needs.

Core has successfully adapted our business operations via our business continuity plan to allow us to operate normally. Some of the actions we have put in place so far include:

o Encouraging videoconferencing or teleconferencing for all meetings either at Core or at our Client’s offices.
o Staff travel for work purposes is limited, and only personal travel for essential reasons is encouraged.
o Cancellation of all internal social gatherings whereby staff would normally attend.
o Ensuring our staff follow the Department of Health’s requirements and should they develop any flu like symptoms, that they immediately quarantine themselves and seek medical attention. We shall also take action immediately should a staff member become unwell with the virus to inform any client or staff member who may have had immediate direct contact with the relevant staff member.
o Regular communication with our staff including extensive information around personal and workplace hygiene.
o Rearrangement of work stations and staff rosters to comply with social distancing requirements.

We would like to thank you for your support and understanding and will continue to keep you updated regarding any developments. We are without a doubt operating in challenging times, but we wish to reassure you that we will navigate this with you.

Regards

Rob Coleman
Chief Executive Officer
