Investigator Resources Limited (ASX: IVR) has appointed Core Resources to conduct pre-feasibility study (PFS) metallurgical testwork for its Paris Silver Project, located in South Australia’s northern Eyre Peninsula. This follows Core Resources’ successful completion of the initial metallurgical study for the project.
The PFS metallurgical program aims to optimise the process flowsheet for the Paris deposit. Core Resources will undertake:
Silver and lead flotation testwork: To evaluate and enhance the recovery rates of silver and lead.
Lead gravity testwork: To assess the effectiveness of gravity separation methods for lead concentration.
Silver cyanide leach tests: To determine the efficiency of cyanide leaching in extracting silver.
In addition to these tests, Core Resources will perform high-level process engineering to facilitate PFS-level design activities for the selected process flowsheet.
Investigator Resources Limited is focused on greenfields exploration for silver-lead, copper-gold, and nickel discoveries within the southern Gawler Craton. The Paris Silver Project is a key asset in their portfolio, representing one of Australia’s highest-grade undeveloped silver deposits.
The collaboration between Investigator Resources and Core Resources underscores a commitment to advancing the Paris Project through meticulous metallurgical assessments, aiming to enhance resource recovery and project feasibility.
