Using Partnerships to Promote Innovation by Core Resources

Core Resources is proud to be featured in a recent case study by METS Ignited, highlighting our achievements, including the prestigious METS Ignited Awards and the Australian Technologies Competition Award for the Toowong Process.

The Toowong Process, developed by Core Resources, offers a vital solution to the growing global issue of pollution caused by the increasing contamination of mineral concentrates, particularly with arsenic. As part of our commitment to innovation, we have been commercialising the Toowong Process to address this environmental challenge. The process enables mining operations to remove deleterious elements directly at the mine site before shipping the cleaned concentrate. This not only improves the quality of the concentrate but also reduces the environmental impact of mining activities.

In addition to the Toowong Process, Leo Fit Labs, in collaboration with Core, has developed cutting-edge hydrometallurgical technology that enhances our ability to remove harmful impurities from mineral concentrates. This partnership exemplifies the power of collaboration in advancing mining technologies that benefit operations, smelters and the global environment.

The value of partnerships in driving innovation cannot be overstated. Core Resources recognises that by working with industry leaders, we can accelerate the development and deployment of transformative technologies that support sustainable practices in mining.

Listen to Core Resources discuss our business and the importance of collaboration in advancing mining technology and environmental sustainability.
